Founded in 1965, General Plumbing Supply Company provides plumbing, electrical, heating, air conditioning and commercial lighting equipment for residential and commercial applications. The company has six plumbing supply branches and is an authorized distributor for American Standard plumbing products, A.O. Smith water heaters and Bryant electrical components. General Plumbing Supply stocks a complete line of water heaters, boilers, pumps, toilets, faucets, sinks, garbage disposals, shower and tub components, as well as steel, plastic, cast iron, brass and copper pipe and tubing, fittings, valves and joining materials for each type of pipe.

Rubenstein Supply Company was founded during the Great Depression by three brothers, Henry, Morris, and Bob Rubenstein. The Company got its start salvaging plumbing fixtures from their father’s building demolition business. Native Oaklanders, they decided to stay local, and built a warehouse at 28th and San Pablo Ave. The brothers built a successful wholesale plumbing distribution company. The company now operates five branches in the Bay Area and is still Family owned.

Over the past 76 years Rubenstein Supply has grown to become a leading wholesale distributor of plumbing & HVAC products in the Bay Area. We like to think of ourselves as a customer service company that happens to distribute plumbing supplies.
